Cologne Cathedral.

Cologne Cathedral - one of the most simple yet easily identifiable symbol of Germany, monumental religious buildings in the Gothic style. And probably one of the longest protracted: the construction of the cathedral lasted for as much as 6 centuries. The first stone of its foundation was laid in 1248, and construction officially ended only in 1880. But, looking at the result, we can confidently say that it was worth it.
