Fort Kite Bay.

One of the symbols of Alexandria, an interesting fact in many ways in which it is built: there were earlier one of the seven wonders of the world - Faroese lighthouse.  After its destruction in 1326 the eastern harbor some time empty, but then - in the 15th century - Sultan Ashraf ordered to erect a military fortress here - Fort Kite Bay.  Today the fortress is situated on the territory of the Maritime Museum.
