Tomb of King David.

A crypt on Mount Zion, known since the Second Temple period -first century AD.  The shrine was destroyed many times and rebuilt, the Muslims twice rebuilt the tomb into a mosque.  The modern look of the tomb acquired in 1948, but still bears trace of many changes - for example, a fragment of the foundation of the mosque.  King David - a symbol of the unity of the Jewish people, as expressed in the inscription on his tomb: "David, king of Israel, lives and exists."
