Bull Temple - one of the oldest temples of Bangalore. Built in honor of Nandi, the sacred bull, which moved Lord Shiva, this temple contains a 4.5-meter carved from solid rock of the sacred statue of Nandi. According to legend, this Dravidian temple was built to appease the greedy bull got into the habit to destroy the crops of local residents. After the completion of a bull has left this place, and the grateful residents since organize an annual festival.
