Tipu Sultan's Fort.

Tipu Sultan's fort in Bangalore was built in 1791 and was used as a summer residence.  This two-story building is almost entirely made of teak wood with stunning complexity of its interweaving arches, columns and balconies.  Today the "envy of the heavens," as the Sultan called his fort, surrounded by exquisite minarets and houses a museum with a collection of artifacts relating to the rule of the Sultan.
