At first, I thought these two places in the Lapland mountains had their place on this list. But then I came to the conclusion that they are so close to each other that in a context like this they should probably be considered to belong together as one and the same destination. From both places you also have several nice views towards Sweden's most beautiful U-valley, Lapporten.
These two places are probably most beautiful in the spring and winter, in March - April. Sometimes I wonder if there could be a nicer place to ski downhill than in Bjrkliden.
The Dolomites possibly, but in any case there is no such place in Sweden. With the views towards Torne träsk and not least the Lapporten which can be seen in the very top picture in this post. We have been skiing here in the spring and winter for seven years. But the summer here is also very nice and there are then more places to discover. This is, among other things, when you can visit Silverfallet. It is in Bjrkliden at the place where the Rakkasjokk flows into the Torne marsh. And it looks more like it was placed in a tropical country than in Lapland. But it is here in the north that the clearest waterfalls like white foam between the cliff edges to a turquoise lagoon where it meets the lake at a pebbly beach. You can also go hiking up here. The famous Kungsleden starts in Abisko, which is also an excellent starting point for day hikes.
