Goa-Municipal Garden.


Municipal Garden - a green rectangular park, which is called the heart of Panjim, is located directly opposite the tourist office of a special Government of India.  Also known as Church Square.  

In the eastern part of the Municipal Garden is surprising because of its whiteness, the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary.

Goa-Altin Hill.

8Altin Hill, standing on top of which you can see a beautiful panorama of the city of Panaji, famous for the fact that it stayed here, Pope John Paul II during his visit to Goa.  The hill, or rather, the two are very close to each other hill, located in the heart of Panaji.  On this hill you can see the mansions of government ministers, the house of the bishop and houses the oldest families of the city, a picturesque hill in binding the three tiers.

Goa-Mahalakshmi Temple.


Mahalakshmi Temple, the main attraction of which 18 are considered rare wooden statues of the god Vishnu, is dedicated to Shakti or pazlichnym ppoyavleniyam bogini Dupgi.  The temple, built in 1818, is located in the village of Bandol.  It is believed that Goddess Mahalakshmi embodiment of peace worshiped rulers Shilahary in the first millennium BC and the first kings of Kadamba dynasty of Goa.

Goa-Church of the Immaculate Conception.


Church of the Immaculate Conception - an architectural monument of Panaji, the administrative center of the state of Goa.  The church was built in 1541 and for many centuries served as a beacon for sailors.  On arrival the sailors thanked God for it successful trip.  His snow-white facade in the Baroque style, it dominates the eastern side of the Municipal Garden.  Around the church planted rare species of palms.

Goa-District Fonteynhas.


District Fonteynhas - it's an old urban Latin Quarter, the architecture of the small squares and cobbled streets which had an European influence.  Picturesque houses in the neoclassical style, the Catholic Church - all this creates a unique atmosphere for romantic walks.

Goa-Chapel of St. Sebastian.


Chapel of St. Sebastian in the southern part of Panaji, which means "flood-free land."  Portuguese-speaking residents Fontaynhasa gather here in mid-November to celebrate the festive procession day of their patron saint, St. Sebastian.  Always attracts the attention of tourists ultra-realistic crucifix that is stored in the chapel since 1812, and brought from the Palace of the Inquisition of Old Goa.
