Beautiful Visby Ring Wall in Sweden

There is something very special about Visby with its narrow alleys and its many roses. The Hanseatic city. In many ways it is completely unique in Sweden and is also a world heritage site.

And yes, it is above all the small central inner city I am talking about. The part of Visby that is Faroinside the ring wall.Faro Because that is the dividing line here. Today as in the Middle Ages.

The fine medieval ring wall that was built from the 12th century to the 14th century and is more than three and a half kilometers long, up to eleven meters high and containing 27 ground towers and nine saddle towers.

Stroll around the wall, stroll through the alleys, but don't forget to also stop at a cafe for a saffron pancake with salm berry jam.
