The Beautiful Coast Vattenriket In Sweden

Did you know that there is a Water Kingdom in Sweden? If you've read this blog before, you probably know that, because I write about the Water Kingdom from time to time. I have worked in Kristianstad, which is in Skane.

At the municipality even. And has a strong interest in nature. And then it becomes natural to constantly return to Kristianstad's Vattenrike, which is Sweden's oldest biosphere reserve and is then located in the municipality of Kristianstad in Skane.

The UN agency Unesco designated Kristianstad's water kingdom as a biosphere reserve, a model area for sustainable development, back in 2005. The biosphere reserve covers almost the entire municipality of Kristianstad and contains almost all Swedish nature types. Nature is truly generous in the Water Kingdom.

Some of my favorite places in Vattenriket are the beautiful coast, which I believe is part of Sweden's longest sandy beach, the sunsets at Helge a in central Kristianstad, walking on spans that open up otherwise closed rooms in wetlands and swamps, and Pulken when the cranes dance on the spring.
