Tipu Sultan's Fort.


Tipu Sultan's fort in Bangalore was built in 1791 and was used as a summer residence.  This two-story building is almost entirely made of teak wood with stunning complexity of its interweaving arches, columns and balconies.  Today the "envy of the heavens," as the Sultan called his fort, surrounded by exquisite minarets and houses a museum with a collection of artifacts relating to the rule of the Sultan.

A pillar of salt -Lot's wife.


A pillar of salt "Lot's wife" came when the angels sent by God to destroy Sodom, Lot, a righteous man brought his wife and out of the burning city.  Then a woman grieving over the fate of compatriots turned to look at the conflagration.  Angels realize that she belongs to the soul of the city, and a warning to others turned it into a pillar of salt.  Located at the southernmost point of interest Dead Sea, Mount Sodom.  It is at it once stood the doomed city.

Qumran National Park.


Qumran National Park is located on the northern shore of the Dead Sea.  In the caves on its territory in 1947 found the famous "Dead Sea Scrolls," a historical record of pre-Christian history of the Jews, now stored in the Temple of the Book at the Israel Museum.  You can see the ruins of the Essene sect of the settlement of the Second Temple: residential buildings, community halls, warehouses, an ancient aqueduct, ponds and pools for ritual washing.  Nearby is the kibbutz Al-Mor, which has copies of the legendary manuscript.

Nature reserves of Ein Gedi Nahal David & Nahal Arugot.


Ein Gedi Nahal David & Nahal Arugot abound in ancient monuments.  In the village of the Roman-Byzantine period on a stream of Ein Gedi, a well-preserved ancient mosque.  On a hill - the ruins of the fortress, which was an ancient plant fragrances - afarsemona.  On examination, the waterfall is worth a visit the famous cave - a meeting place of the legendary King David and Saul, his predecessor.  On the other stream, Nahal Arugot, - the ruins of ancient fortifications, waterfalls, Essene recluse's cell, and hill Yishai, with a breathtaking view from the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea.


The Sea is located 84 km from Tel Aviv, and 360 km from Eilat, in a deep cavity, formed by cleavage of Eurasia and Africa.  Dead Sea water is incredibly bitter, salty, and ... is curative.  Located at 412 m below sea level, the valley of the Dead Sea has a mild climate, an atmosphere of healing and allows you to receive deprived of a "hard" ultraviolet sun.
