Al-Azhar mosque.

Mosque of Al-Azhar is often called Al-Jami al Azhar, which means "radiant mosque."  It was built in the years 970-972 on the orders of commander Giohara.  The mosque here uses a special love - throughout its long history it has often served as a refuge for outcasts, hiding in it and pilgrims waiting for caravans en route to Arabia.  Al-Azhar - the most important architectural and historical monument in Cairo.
