Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo was opened in 1881. It compiles an outstanding collection of decorative and applied art created by Arab craftsmen. Walking through the halls of the museum, you can see the magnificent exhibition of furniture and ceramics from the Sultan's palaces, as well as enjoy the beauty of antique miniatures and carved reliefs (for example, created in the 11th century to the Fatimid palace).
