Mamluk necropolis

Mamluk necropolis - the world's largest necropolis, known as City of the Dead.  This huge and very old cemetery - the burial of the earliest date from the 12th century, but their total number is about two hundred thousand.  It is situated north of Cairo's Citadel.  Interestingly, in the mausoleum with the Mamluks Mamluk aristocracy remains of Mohammed Ali Pasha, finally destroy them.
